Milwaukee Police Dog Bit In Oak Creek: Report
An off-duty officer reported that two large dogs came out from a backyard and began being aggressive with his K9 officer.

OAK CREEK, WI — A Milwaukee Police dog was bit in Oak Creek and the owner of two dogs in Oak Creek was cited following an incident on Aug. 29.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, an off-duty Milwaukee Police officer was walking his police K9 Rea on the 1000 block of W. Potomac Drive on Aug. 29 at just after 7 p.m.
The off-duty officer reported that two large dogs came out from a backyard and began being aggressive with his dog.

Police said that one of the dogs bit Rea on her rear left leg. When officers went to speak with the owner of the two dogs, the owner said her dogs were just playing and not being aggressive. Police said a neighbor who was out walking his own dog admitted to seeing one of the woman's dogs bite the police dog in the leg.
The owner of the two dogs was cited for not having her animals appropriately leashed.
