Motorcycle Training Course Proposed For Oak Creek
City officials said the training course would operate until Nov. 4, 2019. Here's where it has been proposed:

OAK CREEK, WI -- The House of Harley Davidson is requesting space in Oak Creek to host a motorcycle training course.
According to Oak Creek city officials, this is the second time the business is requesting a temporary use permit that would allow The House of Harley to operate a state approved motorcycle training course in the southwest corner of the parking lot of Colder’s located at 9725 S. 13th Street.
According to official Oak Creek Plan Commission documents, the House of Harley Davidson intends to conduct motorcycle training courses on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Since it would be an outdoor training facility, weather is a concern and the applicant would like to have permission to hold makeup days on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.

City officials believe that the proposed location for for the motorcycle training course is appropriate, as it is located nearly a quarter-mile away from the nearest residential area and abuts the interstate, officials said.
Oak Creek officials noted in their official meeting notice that the Plan Commission has the authority to deny the request, because the motorcycle course is not a principal use for a commercial parking lot.
