Motorcyclist Killed In Accident On Rawson And Pennsylvania: OCPD
A 30-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with a car Saturday evening in Oak Creek, police said.

OAK CREEK, WI — A 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident on Rawson Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue in Oak Creek Saturday evening, according to a news release from the Oak Creek Police Department.
A car was turning left from Rawson onto Pennsylvania when it struck the motorcycle, police said. The motorcycle was headed west on Rawson, opposite of the car, and was crossing straight through the intersection when the vehicles collided, according to the news release.
The car was driven by a 72-year-old woman. The motorcyclist died at the scene. The accident is being investigated by the Oak Creek Police Department.

According to the National Traffic Highway Safety Administration, 42 percent of fatal motorcycle crashes occur when a car turns left into an intersection as a motorcycle is passing straight through.
