Mysterious Tree Trimmer Vexes Oak Creek Neighborhood: Report

Police say a man is running around an Oak Creek neighborhood at night trimming trees.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek were called to the Glen Crossing subdivision during the early morning hours of July 28 on a report of a suspicious tree trimmer.

According to Oak Creek police reports, an officer received an email from a woman from Oak Creek Forestry who reported that someone has been trimming the trees in the Glen Crossing subdivision.

According to reports, the suspicious tree trimmer was seen by a subdivision resident around 10 p.m. on July 26 pruning the trees, and left branches on the ground. The suspicious person ran away when the resident when outside to confront them.

The woman from Oak Creek Forestry said that damage has been to several more trees in the area and that it will begin to negatively affect tree growth if the practice continues to happen.

According to reports, officers agreed to conduct a patrol watch in the area.
