OAK CREEK, WI -- Authorities in Oak Creek are investigating a number of break-ins, car burglaries and a burglary case that happened at the end of June. Here is a listing of these incidents based on Oak Creek Police call logs:

June 30

1:19 p.m., 600 block of E. Village Green Court:

A resident reported leaving their vehicle unlocked overnight - the vehicle owner told police the vehicle had been rummaged through, but that nothing was stolen.

1:23 p.m. 8900 block of S. Chicago Road:

A homeowner reported that the screen to his garage was broken and that his crossbow was missing. The homeowner said a suspect cut the screen on the garage and entered the garage. A Wicked Ridge 10-point crossbow, three bolts and a black Kohler compressor on wheels were all stolen. A total value of stolen items was reported to be about $629.

3 p.m. 1000 block of Stonegate Drive:

A resident called police saying her vehicle was entered overnight and that her garage door opener was stolen.

4:13 p.m. 1000 block of E. Melody Drive:

A resident called police saying that someone rummaged through her 2014 Kia Optima overnight. The vehicle was parked in the driveway, and reported that nothing was missing.

10:30 p.m. 8800 block of S. Howell Ave.:

The owner of Smoke World Vape called police saying that a suspect broke into the store and stole a cash register. About $450 in cash had also been stolen after a burglar alarm alerted authorities to a possible break-in. Police are continuing to investigate this burglary case.

June 29

11:26 p.m. 8800 block of S. Chicago Rd.:

A person who was moving into a home reported that someone entered their open garage and stole a Milwaukee Radio, Stihl gas weed trimmer and an electric weed trimmer. All items were collectively valued at $510.
