New Hospital Planned For Near Drexel Town Square In Oak Creek

OAK CREEK, WI -- Froedtert and The Medical College of Wisconsin has submitted plans to build a new hospital near Drexel Town Square in Oak Creek.

According to the Milwaukee Biz Times, the new 18,000 square-foot hospital will be located on the northwest corner of S. 13th Street and W. Drexel Ave.

The hospital will have eight inpatient beds and a seven-bed emergency department.

It will employ about 40 staff, and see between 15 to 25 patients per day, according to the report. The hospital is expected to open in early 2020.
