Oak Creek Area Carjackings: Milwaukee Man Federally Indicted

A Milwaukee man was federally indicted in connection with six carjackings in the Milwaukee and Oak Creek areas, a U.S. Attorney said.

OAK CREEK, WI — A Milwaukee man was federally indicted in connection with multiple carjackings that happened in Milwaukee and the Oak Creek area, Acting United States Attorney Richard G. Frohling announced Dec. 3 in a news release.

Madison Tyler, 20, was charged with two counts of brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence and six counts of motor vehicle robbery, according to the news release. If convicted, each motor vehicle robbery count carries up to 15 years in prison and a minimum of seven. The news release said each charge of brandishing a firearm could lead to life in prison.

The FBI's Milwaukee Area Violent Crimes Task Force is investigating the the matter alongside the Milwaukee Police Department and the Oak Creek Police Department.
