Oak Creek Bender Park Beer Garden Opens Today

OAK CREEK, WI — The 2018 Traveling Beer Garden tour continues today with the opening of the beer garden at Bender Park in Oak Creek, with views of Lake Michigan. A keg tapping will be held at 5 p.m. to celebrate, with free beer until the keg runs dry.

Music nights include this season's only beer garden performance from Pay the Devil, on Friday, June 8. Local musicians Nickel and Rose, back from their European tour, will play at the beer garden on Saturday, June 16

• The Traveling Beer Gardens are operated by Milwaukee County Parks and profits go back to parks.
• In 2017 beer gardens generated over $1.5million in revenue for parks.
• Sprecher Brewery is the exclusive beer partner for the Traveling Beer Gardens
• New for 2018, beer gardeners will now be able to use credit cards and debit cards and beer garden gift cards will be available.
• New for 2018, the Iron Grate BBQ food truck will stop at the beer garden on 55 dates, including five Whole Hog nights (pig roasts)
• New for 2018, beer gardeners will be able to buy an Oak Leaf Flight - 5oz samples of all 12 craft beers on the Sprecher fire truck.
• The Traveling Beer Garden is supported by Radio Milwaukee, Sprecher Brewery, Klement's Sausage and Travel Wisconsin.
