Oak Creek Church Volunteer Has His Car Stolen: Police

A man who was reportedly doing volunteer work for a church had his car stolen in Oak Creek over the weekend, police say.

OAK CREEK, WI — A man who was reportedly doing volunteer work for a church had his car stolen in Oak Creek over the weekend, police say.

Oak Creek police responded to the Oak Creek Assembly of God church on the 7300 block of S. 13th St. just after noon on Oct. 7 on a report of a vehicle theft.

When police arrived, they learned that a man’s vehicle was stolen while he was doing volunteer work for the church. Police reported that a gray 2013 Audi A5 was parked in the far northeast corner of the parking lot just after 8 a.m. that day. By noon, the owner came out to find that his vehicle was missing, according to reports.

According to reports, broken glass and an iPass were found on the ground where his vehicle was last parked. The vehicle was valued at $25,000. The iPass was collected as evidence for fingerprints by police. Officers are reviewing area video surveillance footage to determine if they can obtain more information in their investigation.
