Here are the details of the incident that led to the lockdown at Oak Creek East Middle School. A student inside also had to be removed.

OAK CREEK, WI — The domestic disturbance that temporarily put Oak Creek East Middle School on lockdown in late February also resulted in the arrest of one student in the school.
According to Oak Creek Police reports, a 911 caller told police that a woman just ran from her residence with a gun in her hand, stating she was going to shoot herself just before noon on Feb. 26 less than a half-mile from the school. Reports stated the woman had a silver gun, was on foot, and ran north.
Reports indicated the soon-to-be ex-husband mounted a side-by-side ATV in order to track her down as she fled into a field. Officers found the woman about 10 minutes later where she was taken into custody. She told police she was upset over her marriage and was getting a divorce. She stated originally that she wanted to die. Police found a gun in her pocket. She was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
