Oak Creek East Middle School Student Arrested For Battery: Police

OAK CREEK, WI — An Oak Creek East middle school student was arrested by police earlier this month after an altercation inside the school.

Oak Creek police responded to the Oak Creek East Middle School on Feb. 1 on a report of a battery.

According to police reports, officers responded to the school's main office just after 3:30 p.m. on a report of a fight between two students.

Reports indicated that one student became embroiled in a verbal argument with another that day. According to reports, the argument between the boy and girl escalated, with the boy slapping the girl in the face after the girl told the boy to slap her 15 times before she was struck.

According to reports, the boy was arrested and transported to the Oak Creek police department where he was issued a citation for battery with a March 13 court date. He was later released to his grandmother.
