This week, we're celebrating our school psychologists during National School Psychologists Week!

Every day, our school psychologists help our students thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

This year's theme is "Let’s Get in GEAR" (Grow, Engage, Advocate, Rise). The theme’s acronym represents the challenge to grow personally and professionally. It encourages everyone to engage in best practices and advocate for children’s access to mental health and learning supports. To rise implies resilience and renewal despite the challenges of the past.

The theme has an especially strong significance this year as professionals work to help students, families, and school staff emerge from the pandemic challenges of the past 18 months.

Getting in GEAR together can help everyone set goals for growth, engage in action steps, advocate for needs, and engage in discussions to create the connections necessary for students to develop critical academic and social-emotional skills.

Make sure to take a few minutes to thank the school psychologists that support your child's school. We are lucky to have them!
