On Dec. 31, police were called to the Red Roof again for another robbery. The criminal complaint stated that Waedekin entered the lobby, displayed a black handgun and demanded "all the money in the drawer." She grabbed $1,400 in cash before running out the front doors.

About a month later on Jan. 30, Oak Creek police said that Waedekin was at it again. According to the criminal complaint, she entered the front door of the Red Roof Inn at about 9 p.m. and demanded money. When the clerk told her that there was no money in the drawer, she demanded the clerk open a second cash drawer and her purse. Both efforts turned up no money. When Waedekin asked why there's no money, the clerk said: "We took all the money out, because we keep getting robbed by you." She said "fine" and walked out of the business, according to the complaint.
