Oak Creek Makes Paper 'Shred Bins' Available At Recycling Yard
The locked shred bins will be collected every two weeks for shredding, the City of Oak Creek announced Friday in a news release.
OAK CREEK, WI — Locked bins for residents to deposit paper that will later be shredded are now available for use at the Oak Creek Recycling Yard, the city announced Friday.
Shred-It will collect the bins every two weeks for off-site shredding, the city said. For the security of the bins and everything dropped in them, there will be no keys stored on-site, and attendants at the recycling yard won't be able to retrieve anything dropped in them, so the city advises people to be careful.
Additionally, paper can be dropped into the bin, but no binders, binder clips, plastic or metal aside from staples should be deposited.
