Oak Creek Man Catches 4 Men Breaking Into His Car
According to police reports, the vehicle owner went outside for a cigarette and saw four men rummaging through his vehicle.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the 8800 block of Wood Creek Drive just before 1 a.m. on Monday, July 31 on a report of a vehicle break-in.
According to police reports, the vehicle owner went outside for a cigarette and saw four men rummaging through his vehicle. The man reported that the only thing he was missing was a black 6-in-1 K-bar knife with a sheath valued at about $200.
An Oak Creek officer located a group of vehicles driving north on S. 13th St. that matched the description of the suspects' vehicle in the break-in.

The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, only to have the driver flee into Milwaukee at more than 80 miles per hour through residential areas.
The vehicle, which was reportedly stolen, drove around "stop sticks" set up in an attempt to disable the fleeing vehicle as it headed north.

The pursuit was terminated by officers as the suspects passed 13th and Cleveland in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee police advised Oak Creek that they located the vehicle later that morning on the 3200 block of W. Lapham without the occupants.
