Oak Creek Man Dead, Wife Severely Injured

OAK CREEK, WI — A 66-year-old Oak Creek man is dead and his wife severely injured in a deadly domestic incident.

According to police, on Wednesday at 3 p.m., a woman drove herself to the Oak Creek police department after being severely injured in an altercation with her husband at their home in the 9800 block of S. Nicholson Rd.

Police reported that her injuries warranted immediate treatment, and she was transported to the hospital.

Oak Creek police reported that tactical precautions were taken while trying to make contact with the husband due to the apparent violent nature of the altercation as well as the threatening statements that were reported to the department.

Oak Creek police attempted to make contact with the husband in his home, to no avail. He was later found deceased in his home.

Earlier Wednesday, police advised the public to stay in their homes as officers attempted to make contact with the husband, a 66-year-old white male.

Police are continuing their investigation and are looking for anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed any of the tragic events between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
