Oak Creek Man Rescues Goose Shot By Arrow: Report
According to reports, an Oak Creek man was out walking when he found a Canada Goose with an arrow stuck in it. He decided to help.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek say they were contacted by a concerned citizen after seeing a Canada goose with an arrow through it.
According to police reports in Oak Creek, a resident on the 2400 block of W. Briar Lake Way was out by the pond near the Oak Shores Apartments when he came upon a goose with an arrow that had been shot through the goose's left wing just after 9 a.m. on Aug. 6.
Reports indicated that the goose did not appear to be in distress, yet was sitting beneath a tree that morning. The DNR responded to assist in the situation just before 10:30 a.m. and a DNR warden was able to grab and secure the goose, who was taken to the Humane Society for treatment.
