Oak Creek May See New Animal Hospital

OAK CREEK, WI — A local group of animal care specialists may be on the move, as city officials consider their proposal to build a new animal hospital along S. 27th Street.

According to Oak Creek Plan Commission documents, Dr. Jacob Odders of the Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists has applied for the permits and has brought plans forward for the construction of a new animal hospital at 9472 S. 27th St.

Their existing Oak Creek facility opened in April 2012 and is located at 2400 W. Ryan Rd.

Patients in Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth Counties, as well as those in northern Illinois are served by this animal hospital, which specializes in emergency and critical care services to the pet owners and pets of southern Milwaukee.

Board-certified surgeons and internists accept appointments five days a week, with surgeons and internists on call 24/7.
