OAK CREEK, WI — Getting behind the wheel after a number of alcohol beverage is never a good idea, yet police say one Milwaukee woman's intoxicated driving was on display right in front of an Oak Creek officer this week.

According to police reports, a 29-year-old Milwaukee woman was behind the wheel on the 1700 block of W. Ryan Road just after 3 a.m. on March 10 when an Oak Creek police officer pulled up behind her on the road.

Reports stated that as the woman drove north near the intersection of W. Ryan Road, she moved into the left turn lane. Moments later, the officer behind her reported seeing her change her mind at the last minute, veering across all three lanes of traffic in order to make a right-hand turn.

When the officer pulled her over, reports stated that the woman failed standard field sobriety test and recorded a 0.129 blood alcohol concentration on a preliminary breath test, which is greater than the legal limit for drunk driving in Wisconsin.
