A law firm donated to the Oak Creek Performing Arts and Education Center. The new stage is scheduled to open Oct. 7.

OAK CREEK, WI — Weeks before the scheduled ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Oak Creek Performing Arts and Education Center, a law firm has decided to donate $300,000 to the facility.
The project is a referendum-supported addition to Oak Creek High School land. Voters decided to permit the construction in a 2018 survey. Ahead of the scheduled grand opening on Oct. 7, Martin Law Office decided to make the donation.
The new amphitheater, known as OCPAEC, has a capacity of 1000 people and plans to showcase student performances but also community entertainment and school learning ventures, according to a news release from the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District. The facility will also have rental options.

The donation will be used to create an outdoor sign for OCPAEC alongside indoor signs. The remaining funds will be used for the continued upkeep of the facility, according to the news release.
“A large part of what makes this community so great is the willingness to support one another. We are so grateful for the generosity of Atty. Kevin Martin, the lawyers, and staff at Martin Law Office, S.C. for ensuring that we have a beautiful facility to showcase our amazing student talent for decades to come,” OCFSD Board of Education President Frank Carini said in the news release.

The new amphitheater has scheduled its grand opening and ribbon-cutting event for Oct. 7 at 4 p.m. The district will put on tours of the new facility throughout the day to get a look at the orchestra pits, stage, backstage, and audio and lighting systems.
“Martin Law Office, S.C. has been committed to the community and its families since our opening. The success of a community starts with its students and educators. This partnership is a recognition of the high school’s and school district’s past success, and an investment in the future success of the community," Attorney Kevin Martin said in the news release.
