Oak Creek Police Bust Prostitution Operation at Motel 6; Suspects Used Backpage.com
The suspects used Backpage.com to field customers. When police got there, they found drug use and open arrest warrants.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Oak Creek police busted a prostitution operation that advertised on backpage.com after the management of Motel 6 requested that people be removed from one of the rooms based on suspicious activity.
According to the police report, Oak Creek police K9 officer Stanley signaled the presence of drugs on a room at Motel 6 as officers conducted directed patrol on the hotel grounds.
Officers found that a subject - who initially gave officers a false name - was running an escort service from out of the Motel 6 rooms, and had been posting advertisements on Backpage.com to field customers.

The person who ran the escort service was cited for operating without an escort license, for obstruction for providing the officer with false identification.
Officers made contact with the occupants of the motel room and located cocaine residue and pipes used for cocaine along with THC residue throughout the room. Police reported that three metal pipes were located, and used for crack cocaine.

One subject was found to have a valid arrest warrant out of Racine for $4,535 for an unspecified offense. Another subject was found to have a valid warrant with Corrections for Probation Violation for Dangerous Drugs, a warrant with he Lake County Sheriff's Office in Crown Point Indiana for shoplifting.
