Oak Creek K9 officer Nox assisted authorities in citing a drug user upon a routine check at LaQuinta Inn.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek K9 officer Nox assisted authorities in citing a drug user upon a routine check at LaQuinta Inn.
According to police reports, an officer and Nox, a drug sniffing police dog, conducted a directed patrol on LaQuinta Inn's grounds on July 5 in the evening.
Nox indicated the presence of illegal narcotics on one of the rooms.
When police knocked on the occupant's room, the man gave police consent to enter the room.

Police reports say that the man handed the officer a pill bottle containing marijuana. A subsequent search of the room revealed another pill bottle on the desk with marijuana next to a grinder.
There was also a marijuana pipe in the night stand. The marijuana tested positive for THC and had a weight of 1.2 grams.
