Oak Creek Police Find Vodka Orange Juice in Drunk Driver's Car
The driver knocked over several mail boxes, and the car ended up in the front yard of a home on the 2200 block of W. Oakwood Rd.

OAK CREEK, WI -- A female motorist was taken into custody and transported to the hospital after an apparent drunk driving accident resulted in the driver knocking over several mail boxes and the car ending up in the front yard of a home on the 2200 block of W. Oakwood Rd.
The report stated that the driver fell asleep behind the wheel before crashing. An officer on scene located a vodka orange juice drink - also known as a screwdriver - in the center console of the car.
According to Oak Creek police, officers responded to the 2200 block of W. Oakwood Rd. just after 3 a.m. on Jan. 14 after a motorist veered off the road, crashed into a ditch, struck several mail boxes and ended up in the front yard of a residence.

According to the report, the driver suffered a broken arm, and the passenger suffered injuries and both required transport to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital for treatment.
The driver reportedly failed field sobriety tests and submitted to a preliminary breath test which recorded a 0.16 BAC - approximately twice the legal limit for OWI in Wisconsin.
