Oak Creek Police Reward Oak Creek High School Student Drivers
Here's something that police were involved in yesterday that brings a little more joy on a cloudy Tuesday morning.

OAK CREEK, WI — Here at Oak Creek Patch we cover a lot of local crime news in an effort to inform residents of incidents that happen in the community.
But here's something that police were involved in yesterday that brings a little more joy on a cloudy Tuesday morning.
Last week Monday, members of the Oak Creek police department performed an otherwise routine seatbelt check at the Oak Creek High School campus.

But instead of handing out tickets to youngsters in vehicles who weren't wearing their seatbelts, they handed out Chick fil' A chicken sandwiches to students who were caught wearing their seatbelts.
And the good news was that officers were able to hand out more than 300 chicken sandwiches to students who were following seatbelt laws.
