Oak Creek Recreation is undergoing some changes to its platform. Starting Sept. 1, it will be called OCR Community Education and Recreation.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek Recreation is undergoing some changes as it turns into "OCR Community Education and Recreation." The department answered common questions about the new platform, which will take effect Sept. 1.
The recreation platform's changes will affect people of all ages in Oak Creek. At the start of September, all registration for recreation across Oak Creek will be done through the Oak Creek-Franklin School District office, according to a news release from the city.
"The new OCR platform will feature access to all individuals in the community and all ages, with both of the organizations joining together, we will be able to build upon our traditional physical activities while also expanding our educational, social, and well being programming," the news release said.

When does fall registration start?

How do I register for Fall classes?
All registration will be done through the Oak Creek-Franklin School District office. A new account may be needed, which can be set up here.
Can I use my old Oak Creek Recreation account?
Oak Creek Recreation office will not handle any fall recreation registration.
What will happen to any money I have on my Oak Creek Recreation account?
Households will be refunded by check. Checks will be sent out starting in Aug. Accounts with balances related to reservations will remain open and carry over to future rentals.
Will the Oak Creek Recreation office remain open?
No, it will close on Aug. 31, but staff will remain on hand to process refunds, handle reservations and answer questions.
How will I reserve a pavilion, sport field, etc?
The city recreation office will still handle rentals, but more information is to come later.
