OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek say a resident on the 8100 block of S. Lauree Lane was the victim of a residential theft after the resident noticed that some of his lawn ornaments had gone missing.

According to police reports, the resident called police on the morning of April 14, stating that sometime between 10 p.m. on April 13 and 10 a.m. on April 14, someone went onto his property and stole two two-foot-tall gargoyles that were on each side of the sidewalk near his home.

The gargoyles were made of resin with white, gold and bronze paint speckles. Each gargoyle was valued at $129 according to reports.
