Oak Creek Shoppers Targeted in Credit Card Fraud
Before they knew it, one woman had $800 in fraudulent charges appear on her card from the local Target store and the other had $400.

OAK CREEK, WI — Two people shopping in Oak Creek on Saturday found out the hard way that they were victims of credit card theft after they found out that someone had racked up about $1,200 in fraudulent charges.
According to police reports, two women were shopping at Kohl's and later at Panera Bread on the 26th when an apparent thief reportedly stole their wallets from inside their purses while they were shopping.
Before they knew it, one woman had $800 in fraudulent charges appear on her card from the local Target store and the other had $400 more in fraudulent charges from the same store.

The women were advised to call their credit card companies to immediately report the fraudulent charges and the theft, and to follow-up with police to provide credit card numbers for their investigation.
