Oak Creek Theft Suspect Caught Hiding In Tall Grass

OAK CREEK, WI — A retail theft suspect who had reportedly stolen tools from Menards was found hiding in the tall grass behind Walmart where he was taken into custody.

According to police reports, a loss prevention officer called police on Sep. 7 just before 4 p.m. on a report that he was chasing a suspect westbound down the street behind Walmart.

He was reportedly carrying two Flex hand ratchet wrench 7-piece sets and was spotted in the store's window department concealing one of the items in his pants before leaving the store.

He was later located by police behind the Walmart trying to hide.
