Oak Creek Traffic Stop Leads To Cocaine Bust

Oak Creek police pulled a vehicle over on the 2300 block of W. Ryan Rd. just after 1 a.m. on Sep. 20 for illegally-tinted windows.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police pulled a vehicle over on the 2300 block of W. Ryan Rd. just after 1 a.m. on Sep. 20 for illegally-tinted windows.

According to Oak Creek police reports, when officers approached the vehicle during the traffic stop, the officer observed a white powdery substance in the rear passenger's lap.

Reports indicate that the officer also observed the presence of what was likely cocaine on the driver's top lip and nose.

According to police, a search warrant was conducted on the vehicle and a rolled up $5 bill with cocaine on it concealed floating in a clear plastic water bottle.

Police reports indicate that all occupants of the vehicle denied ownership of the approximately 3 grams of cocaine.

One person was transported to Wheaton for medical evaluation after reporting feeling light-headed and was sweating profusely. The person was also reportedly on federal probation for possession of cocaine, and conspiracy and intent to distribute cocaine.
