Oak Creek Woman Agrees To Stop Feeding Feral Cats
The cats, the neighbor said, were leaving messes in his yard, destroying his plants and using his planter as a bathroom.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the 2300 block of W. Lindenwood Ave. just before 8:30 a.m. on Sep. 17 on a report of an animal complaint.
According to police reports, a caller in the neighborhood reported that stray cats in the neighborhood were roaming around their neighbor's house, and that the neighbor was leaving out food.
The cats, the neighbor said, were leaving messes in his yard, destroying his plants and using his planter as a bathroom.

Police went out to the residence in question, and confirmed what was happening. The owner stated that his spouse was feeding the cats and told officers that she would discontinue that practice.
Police advised all parties involved in the police call to contact the Humane Society to possibly ask about borrowing traps.
