Oak Creek Woman Reports Fraudulent Concrete Repairman: Report
An Oak Creek woman says she was quoted $400 on a concrete repair job, only to have the man ask for $4,000 when the job was done.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek took a report of fraud from a woman who lives on the 300 block of E. Kendale Drive involving a concrete repairman.
According to police reports, a woman contacted police just after noon on Oct. 6 on a report that she had been scammed out of $3,000. The woman said that a man in his 40s wearing blue jeans and a dark blue shirt offered to fix the concrete on her front porch for between $300 and $400.
Reports indicated that the woman agreed to the repair work, however when the work was done, she said the man came back and said the job cost $4,000. She talked the repairman into taking $3,000 and he drove her to the Landmark Credit Union to get the money before dropping her off at home, the report stated.

According to reports, police are following up with the local credit union to obtain surveillance footage as they continue to investigate this case.
Police said the repairman's vehicle appeared to be a blue-silver Pontiac Minivan with black side-swipe marks on its passenger side.
