Oak Creek Woman Says Larry Nassar Assaulted Her 60 Times

Nicole Casady of Oak Creek shares details about how the convicted child molester Larry Nassar sexually assaulted her.

OAK CREEK, WI -- An Oak Creek woman says she was sexually abused by former Michigan State gymnastics instructor and convicted child molester Larry Nassar.

According to a WAOW report, Nicole Casady, now 35, of Oak Creek, says Nassar sexually assaulted her more than 60 times. Casady said she was first assaulted by Nassar when she was a gymnastics training camp invitee as a teen. Years later when she was 18 years old, she was enrolled at Michigan State where Nassar assaulted her numerous times, she said.

Nassar, 55, is serving what amounts of a life sentence in a federal penitentiary in Tucson, Arizona.

In 2017, a federal judge sentenced Nassar to 60 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to child pornography charges. In January, a Michigan Circuit Court judge sentenced him to 40 to 175 years on state charges, and in February, another judge sentenced him to another 40 to 125 years in prison.

In all, Nassar has been accused by more than 250 women and girls and one male gymnast.
