Oak Creek's Newest Restaurant, The Chocolate Factory, Opens Thursday

OAK CREEK – Oak Creek's newest restaurant opened today, September 8, in Drexel Town Square.

The Chocolate Factory, a sandwich shop and ice cream place that bills itself as the Milwaukee area's top sandwich shop, opened its newest restaurant in Oak Creek at 7963 S. Main Street.

The Chocolate Factory specializes in sub rolls and croissants in addition to serving a variety of fresh salads, sundaes and 24 premium Wisconsin-made ice creams sold by the ounce. The Chocolate Factory’s other restaurants are located in Cedarburg, Elm Grove, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, Shorewood, Waukesha and West Bend.

Mike Toffler, General Manager said in an Urban Milwaukee report, “We’re excited to be the first restaurant opening in the beautiful Drexel Town Square and we’re equally excited about becoming part of this great community. We’re thrilled to have opened our eighth restaurant here in Oak Creek.”

Customers can use a convenient 6th Street entrance until the main entrance is open.

The Chocolate Factory opened its doors in Cedarburg in 1972 as an ice cream parlor and candy store. Their now famous subs were added to the menu later that year.
