Oak Shores Apartments Burglarized: Report

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the Oak Shores Apartments on W. Briar Lake Way just after 5 p.m. on April 17 on a report of multiple burglaries.

According to Oak Creek police reports, two apartment units were broken into during the day with jewelry and electronics stolen.

According to reports, one woman reported that she came home from work at about 5 p.m. to find that her door had been pried open. Her jewelry drawers appeared to have been tossed on the bed and rummaged through. Multiple pieces of jewelry were missing, the woman said.

The man who lives next door reported that his television, computer and a ring were missing, according to police reports.

Police are continuing to investigate the incidents and are searching for a suspect.
