OAK CREEK, WI -- An apartment visitor says he parked his car at the Oak Terrace Apartments for less than a half-hour before someone tried breaking into it.

According to police reports, a resident on the 8300 block of S. Chicago Road called police at just after 6:30 p.m. on April 24 on a report of a vehicle break-in.

Reports stated that a visitor to the Oak Terrace Apartments had his vehicle rummaged through. Reports stated that the man parked his car in the parking lot just after 6 p.m.

When he returned to his car less than a half-hour later, he saw that the passenger door appeared to be pried open.
