Obscene Gesture Gets Two Motorists Arrested: Report

Reports indicated that the family was headed to the airport from Racine for an out-of-town funeral.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek say that two people were arrested after the car they were riding flashed another driver an obscene gesture before driving off.

According to police reports, a woman driving along E. Ryan Rd. and S. Shepard Ave. just after 10 a.m. on Sep. 21 reported that an occupant in a silver Grand Prix drove up next to her, displayed an obscene gesture, and headed off. The woman called police, also saying that their car smelled like marijuana.

Police reports indicated that an officer on patrol found the suspects' vehicle on the 7800 block of S. Howell Ave. a short time later. When speaking with them, the officer confiscated a marijuana pipe and a small bag of marijuana containing about one gram.
