Officer Breaks Window As Suspect Tried Pulling Away: Police
Oak Creek police were called to Kwik Trip on a report of an asleep motorist. Police say they found a loaded gun in the car.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police say they arrested a drunk driver at Kwik Trip on the day after Christmas, but not before the driver tried getting away.
According to Oak Creek police reports, a person called police stating that a man was passed out in his car at Kwik Trip on 10th St. The responding officer located the sleeping man, noting that he was breathing, but not responsive.
According to reports, the man eventually became alert but was not listening to the officer's orders. The man put the car into gear and moved forward. At that time, police said the officer on-scene broke the passenger-side window. The man responded by putting his car back into the park.

Reports stated the man was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated and recorded a 0.11 blood alcohol concentration on an intoximeter test - greater than the legal limit for OWI.
Reports also stated that police searched his vehicle and found a grinder and a loaded firearm in the glove box of the vehicle.
