O&H Bringing the Kringle to Oak Creek

Bakery will open at 27th and Ryan.

It's been quite the season for new restaurants in Oak Creek, what with the announcements that and will open in the city.

Now you can add another to the list. O&H Bakery, the Racine-based operation famous for its Kringle, will open a restaurant at the corner of 27th Street and Ryan Road later this fall.

I couldn't reach a representative from O&H on Tuesday. But in a Facebook post, O&H said the business, called "The Dish," will be a full-line bakery including Kringle, Danish sweet rolls, doughnuts, cakes and breads.

According to a "coming soon" sign on the building, sandwiches, soups, salads, pasta and pizza will also be served. It will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and feature a drive-through. More information and photos can be found in this introductory post on TheDishOakCreek.com.

O&H Danish Bakery began in 1949 and is a staple in Racine - even the president dropped by for a visit last year.
