Paul Ryan to Appear at Oak Creek PPG Plant Thursday

Speaker of the House to attend ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome the new facility - PPG's largest in the country.

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan will be attending a PPG Open House at 11:00 a.m. at the company’s Oak Creek facility located at 10800 S 13th Street on Thursday.

PPG Industries’ industrial coatings business broke ground on a new application development center for liquid coatings at its Oak Creek, Wisconsin, plant. This facility represents a sizable investment in southeastern Wisconsin for PPG. Speaker Ryan will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and later tour of the facility. Ryan is expected to host a Q&A with PPG employees.

PPG manufactures paint, coatings and materials worldwide, with operations in more than 70 countries and more than 46,000 employees. Of more than 18,000 PPG employees in the U.S., 550 work at the Oak Creek, Wisconsin, industrial coatings manufacturing facility, which is the largest PPG plant in the country.
