Pay Raises Approved For Oak Creek Police
The men and women in blue will see a little bit more green after the City of Oak Creek unanimously passed a new labor agreement. Details:

OAK CREEK, WI — The men and women in blue will see a little bit more green after the City of Oak Creek unanimously passed a labor agreement that covers the next three years.
According to meeting documents, the new labor agreement covers the years 2018, 2019 and 2020.
The 3-year settlement calls for wage increases as follows:

January 1, 2018 - 1.5 percent
January 1, 2019 - 1.0 percent
July 1, 2019 - 1.0 percent
January 1, 2020 - 2.25 percent
In addition, the tentative agreement includes:

Accelerated vacation accrual schedule for employees, but with an overall "cap" of 31 days that did not exist previously. Increased time of employee probationary period Írom 12 months to 18
months.
Increased clothing allowance in the amount of $50 per represented employee.
City officials said the fiscal impact of the wage settlement is $245,222 over the 3-year period.
