Pettis Victorious at UFC 136
Oak Creek business owner adds solid victory to record Saturday night.

Anthony Pettis versus Jeremy Stephens served as the opener of last night's UFC 136 preliminary card special on Spike TV.
The opening round of three saw some fairly even exchanges on the feet. Pettis may have had the edge via crisper, more frequent strikes, but Stephens made his own case for winning the round by securing a takedown late.
Round two was all-Pettis with him hitting takedown after takedown on Stephens. At one point he even bloodied his opponents nose, while also threatening numerous submission holds.

Round three was somewhat closer, but Pettis still looked the fresher fighter, landing more shots on the feet and securing more effective takedowns. Stephens fought valiantly, but it appears he was just slightly overmatched by the Milwaukee native.
Two judges scored the fight for Pettis, while one saw it for Stephens, giving Pettis the split decision victory. The win ups the owner's official MMA record to 14 wins and 2 losses.
