Photos: Chamber of Commerce 10th Anniversary Celebration

The South Suburban Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 10th anniversary Thursday with a reception at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital, 10101 S. 27th St.

The business appreciation event included city updates from Mayors Dick Bolender of Oak Creek and Tom Taylor of Franklin. State legislators presented chamber Executive Director Barbara Wesener with a plaque commemorating 10 years.

The organization, formerly called the Southeastern Chamber United in Business, combined the Oak Creek and Franklin chambers of commerce in 2001.

Since 2007, it has been known as the South Suburban Chamber of Commerce. detailing the history of the chamber and an overview of what the organization does.
