Police Arrest Man Wanted In 3 Counties At Menards: Report

Oak Creek police say they were initially called to the Oak Creek Menards on a report of a man shooting up heroin.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek say they arrested a Milwaukee man who was wanted by authorities in three Wisconsin counties after they found he and the woman he was with during an apparent drug call at Menard's.

According to police reports, a concerned citizen called police saying that a man, later identified as Jesus Montes of Milwaukee, and a woman were in the Menards parking lot and apparently shooting up heroin.

Reports indicated that police found the vehicle and found Montes and the woman sleeping inside. Police found drug paraphernalia in the car's cabin, and upon a search of the vehicle, found additional materials used to deliver drugs.

Police say Montes told him that they needed a nap, but were not conducting business at Menards. Officers reported that Montes initially gave police a false name.

According to reports, officers cited Montes and the woman for possession of drug paraphernalia, and for loitering. Montes, who had a warrant out in Forest County for operating a vehicle while revoked, another in Milwaukee County for failure to pay child support and one in Marinette County for operating while revoked, was arrested and transferred to the Milwaukee County Sheriff jail.
