Police Arrest Man Who Held Drunk Driver At Gunpoint: Report
Police say a man pointed a .357 Magnum handgun at a drunk driver, holding him at gunpoint until officers could arrive.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek say they've arrested a drunk driver - and the man who stopped him - after the man who stopped him pointed a .357 magnum at the drunk driver, ordering him to the ground before police could arrive.
According to Oak Creek police reports, an Oak Creek man reported that the driver of a blue minivan was driving erratically, aggressively without its lights on at about 90 miles per hour just before 9 p.m. on Oct. 27.
Reports stated that the person who called police followed the erratic driver through the Oak Creek business Park area, eventually tailing the suspicious driver to his home on W. Lagoon Lane later that evening.

According to police, when the apparent drunk driver got out of the van and started walking toward his residence, his pursuer pulled out a .357 magnum handgun and ordered the driver to the ground until police could arrive.
Police said that when they arrived, they found that the apparent drunk driver had been intoxicated. Police reported finding an open half-liter of Jack Daniels and a bottle of Vodka inside the vehicle. He was arrested after a breath test recorded a 0.12 blood alcohol concentration - greater than the legal limit for drunk driving in Wisconsin.

According to reports, police his pursuer was also arrested for pointing and aiming a firearm at another citizen and also resisting arrest.
