POLICE BLOTTER, June 29: Flat Tires; Park and Ride Problems, Drunk Driver; One Stop Leads to a Second

Parking Tickets
Oak Creek police towed and issued parking citations to 28 illegally-parked cars near the Oak Creek park-and-ride lot.
As reported online, those who parked outside marked spots faced a $90 ticket, a towed car and a bill for between $85-125 for the cost of the tow.

Tired of Messing Around
Residents in the 8000 block of S. Wildwood Dr. are reporting that someone in the neighborhood is letting air out of tires parked on the street.
Police responded but did not locate a suspect. An officer left a notification sticker on the window of a car with flat tires in the event they wanted to file a report for damages.

One Stop Leads to a Second
An officer conducting a traffic stop on the 1400 block of W. Rawson Ave just before 3 a.m. heard a loud crash and observed a vehicle coming off the northbound ramp of I-94 with severe front-end damage.
The driver admitted to hitting a semi-truck o nthe interstate.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office was contacted and the situation was turned over to the Sheriff's office.

Drunk Driver
A driver was pulled over on the 11100 block of S. 13th St just after 2 a.m. for reportedly multiple lane deviations and swerving.
Upon making the traffic stop, officers detected signs of intoxication and a driver-submitted breath test revealed a BAC of 0.19, which is more than the legal limit in Wisconsin. The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of Drunk Driving.
