Police Called After McDonald's Customer Refused To Pull Up: Cops

Police said the customer yelled at drive-through staff, caused backups all the way to the street, and scratched an employee.

OAK CREEK, WI --An unruly McDonald's customer could be cited for trespassing in the future after police say she caused a disturbance at an Oak Creek McDonalds that resulted in an employee's finger being cut during a conflict.

According to police reports in Oak Creek, police responded to the McDonald's on 13th Street just after 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 4. When they arrived, they spoke restaurant management and also with a woman parked in the parking lot who was refusing to leave.

Reports stated that the woman went through the drive-through, and was given the wrong order. The woman told police she went back through the drive-through and requested a new cheeseburger, but was told by employees to pull forward. When she refused to, she was ordered to move to a parking space.

According to reports, McDonald's employees said the woman was shouting at employees over her order, and was causing drive-through backups that stretched onto S. 13th Street.

Reports indicated that the woman eventually got her new cheeseburger, but in the process of the hand-off, one of the woman's fingernails scratched the employee, causing a minor cut.

Restaurant management attempted to speak with the woman, however she continued to yell and demanded a corporate phone number, according to police reports. According to reports, management told the woman they were going to call the police, because she would not leave the parking lot after she was handed a new cheeseburger and was given the McDonald's corporate phone number.
