Police Called On Golf-Cart Driving Military Vet
Police were called after a citizen reported a man driving his golf cart down a bike patch. As it turns out, it was a military veteran.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the 10200 block of S. Pennsylvania Ave. just after 7 p.m. on August 7 on a report that a man was driving his golf cart on the Oak Leaf bike path.
According to reports, the officer made contact with the man, who advised police that he was a combat-injured veteran. He was observed to have considerable scarring on his body and was also battling back problems.
The man producted his American Disabilities Act paperwork provided by Milwaukee County which stated that he was allowed to drive his golf cart on any public roadway, sidewalk and trail.

County ordinances state that golf carts are allowed to be operated by an injured veteran or other disabled person in such a manner.
