Police Catch Man Who Fled, Hid In South Shore Cinema: Report
Reports stated that officers warned the man hiding in South Shore that he would be bitten if he did not follow officers' directions.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek say they made an arrest after a man fled a traffic stop, ran from police and later tried hiding in a movie theater.
According to Oak Creek police reports, an officer on patrol on the night of Aug. 23 tried to pull over the driver of a vehicle on the 7200 block of S. 13th Street for a suspended registration.
Reports stated that the driver of the vehicle, David V. McGee of Milwaukee, fled the traffic stop attempt and a police pursuit was initiated by Oak Creek officers. According to police, McGee abandoned his vehicle in the 7200 block of I-94 and ran in a northeast direction away from police.

Police tracked him to the west end of the South Shore Cinema, according to reports. Police said they deployed police K-9 officer Nox to try to track McGee down.
According to reports, Nox tracked McGee to the cinema's east doors. Then, police spotted him exiting one of the theaters and walking toward the lobby. Police said they were able to stop him as he exited the theater's north doors.

According to reports, police searched the vehicle, and K-9 officer Stanley led officers to find two grams of marijuana in the purse of the passenger, Laquitta Griggs. When police ran Griggs' ID, they learned that she held an arrest warrant with police in Indianapolis for battery. Police also learned that McGee held a warrant with Wisconsin Community Corrections.
