Police Chase Ends In Drug Arrest: Oak Creek Police
Police report that the driver's progress was halted when he turned down a dead-end alley on S. 13th St. behind BMO Harris Bank.

OAK CREEK, WI — A motorist in Oak Creek faces multiple felony charges after police say he tried to flee from police and was later found to have drugs and counterfeit cash on him.
According to Oak Creek police reports, a motorist called the police, saying that the driver of a Honda CRV was swerving all over the road along the 7300 block of S. 27th St. just after 2 a.m.
Reports indicated that police responded to the call, located the driver of the CRV and attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, only to have the driver pull away. A two-and-a-half-mile police pursuit ensued, and the driver's progress was halted when he turned down a dead-end alley on S. 13th St. behind BMO Harris Bank.

According to police, the man tried fleeing on foot from the scene, only to be arrested a short distance away.
When the man was taken into custody, he was found to be in possession of marijuana and several plastic baggies and a digital scale. A search of the vehicle also produced open intoxicants. When police removed the radio from the center console, they found a counterfeit $50 bill behind.

According to police reports, charges of fleeing and eluding an officer, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of counterfeit money, OWI and possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.
