Police Investigate Another Rash Of Break-Ins: Report

Police said a clerk from nearby Hawthorne Suites located a vehicle in their parking lot with a smashed-out window.

OAK CREEK, WI - Police in Oak Creek are investigating another rash of vehicle break-ins, this time happening in the area of Amazon Construction, in the 9700 block of S. 13th Street on the evening of Nov. 10.

According to Oak Creek police reports, a clerk from nearby Hawthorne Suites located a vehicle in their parking lot with a smashed-out window just after 11 p.m. on Nov. 10.

When police investigated, they found that several vehicles had been broken into:

An iPad, two black Milwaukee Tool heated jackets and other items were taken from one vehicle, which had its driver's-side window smashed out.

The driver's side window of a second vehicle was smashed out with a pry bar, according to police. A De Walt 124-piece tool kit, a high-visibility jacket and some other items were stolen from this vehicle.

The passenger-side window of a third vehicle had been smashed out. A Micro Roni Glock arm brace accessory, Winchester 9 mm gun and ammunition were reported stolen.

Police conducted extra patrols in the area, citing the need to do so after the key rings belonging to several trailers had been stolen.
